Culture
The Faculty of Humanities of L.U.de.S. believes in active cultural promotion, for this reason the University appears as a center of cultural diffusion within the presentation booklet of the "Month of Culture", an important series of events promoted by the Department for Culture of the City of Lugano, in collaboration with various organizations and associations.
The Faculty of Humanities of L.U.de.S. has, furthermore, offered an historic introductory contribution to the first volume "I miei milleottantanove", by Arduino Francescucci and Vincenzo Amore, edited by MC.
These three volumes, for a total of 1800 pages, richly bound, are dedicated to the 1089 who took part in the expedition of Garibaldi in Sicily. The work, considered of national interest, is allowed to use the official logo for the celebrations of the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy, the joint expression of the Presidency of the Italian Republic and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
The Faculty of Human Sciences participated with some reports in medical anthropology and philosophy at the Conference "The man, the time, the nature" organized by the Italian Institute for Philosophical Studies, at its headquarters in Naples, together with 'Altanur Cultural Association'.
